Drug Uses
Plavix works prevents platelets from aggregating and blocking veins and vessels. Platalets don`t stick at vessels walls and injured tissues, thus not blocking the blood flow and not increasing blood pressure. Patients taking Plavix should be very careful with their taking schedule, as thus they expose themselves to risk.
How Taken

Missed Dose
If you miss a dose take it as soon as you remember. However if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the Missed Dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
Storage
Keep the product away heat, moisture and light. The temperature should be between 59 86 °F (15 30 °C). Make sure children cannot reach it.
More Information
You may need a dosage adjustment or special monitoring during treatment or you may not be able to take this drug at all if you have kidney or liver infection or if you have gastrointestinal problems. Plavix interact with the following products- phenytoin (Dilantin); tamoxifen (Nolvadex); tolbutamide (Orinase); torsemide (Demadex); fluvastatin (Lescol); a blood thinner such as warfarin (Coumadin), heparin, ardeparin (Normiflo), dalteparin (Fragmin), danaparoid (Orgaran), enoxaparin (Lovenox), or tinzaparin (Innohep); (Activase), anistreplase (Eminase), dipyridamole (Persantine), streptokinase (Kabikinase, Streptase), ticlopidine (Ticlid), and urokinase (Abbokinase). Patients taking the above mentioned drugs should consult a doctor concerning the dosage and possibility of Plavix usage.
Warnings/Precautions
Plavix may cause dizziness or lightheadedness. These effects may worsen if Plavix is taken with alcohol or certain medicines. Use Plavix Tablets with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this drug. Do not eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice while you take Plavix Tablets. Proper dental care is important while you are taking Plavix Tablets. Brush and floss your teeth and visit the dentist regularly. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your doctor. Plavix should be used only by the patient for whom it has been prescribed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.

Possible Side Effects
